To understand user frustration, needs, and requirements, I conducted user research through interviews and surveys for my app project. My goal was to gain insights into the needs and wants of users to better design my app and responsive website. There are two types of user research methodologies: qualitative and quantitative. I chose qualitative research due to time constraints. I conducted surveys and interviews with wedding venue managers and musicians to identify pain points and user needs. Initially, I assumed the primary issue was the lack of available musicians, but research showed that the main problem was the cumbersome booking process.
